Step 1: Play through all seven chapters, collecting as many items as possible If you close out of the game after activating a Jizo statue save, your game WILL NOT HAVE SAVED. This DOES NOT actually save your game!! You can ONLY save your game in the girl's room in her house (to re-enter, go to the map, then press ), or when you clear a chapter. Scattered around the map are Jizo statues which, if you offer them a coin, will quicksave (checkpoint) the game, and I recommend doing this whenever possible (especially as they are also warp points, so it is in your interest to use each statue at least once). At the end of this guide is a list of all items as they appear in the inventory screen, so you can check anything you might be missing against the walkthrough.Īn important note about saving: The game has two kinds of saves – quicksave and regular save. Thankfully, the developers did away with htoL#NiQ's touchscreen nonsense, so Yomawari is much easier to play than the aforementioned game! However, the game has much more of a feel of their previous offering, htoL#NiQ : The Firefly Diary – at least in terms of art style and theme. Yomawari: Night Alone is an isometric survival horror adventure game by Nippon Ichi Software, best known for the Disgaea series of games.
